Grilled Chicken
Margherita
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions:
1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
2. Add salt and pepper to chicken breast
previously cut in a half.
3. In a bowl combine Olive
oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried basil, dried oregano, brush the mixture
on the chicken
4. Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each
side or until fully cooked.
5. In the last few minutes of grilling, top each
chicken breast with slices of fresh mozzarella and the cherry tomato let it
melt.
6. Remove the chicken from the grill and Drizzle
with balsamic glaze and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
